Rehau KALEIDO WOODEC

Kaleido Woodec’s matt decors not only look like natural wood, but also tactilely resemble real wood. The surface of REHAU WOODEC is weather resistant, easy to clean and does not require regular painting and varnishing, unlike conventional wooden windows.

REHAU GENEO RAU-FIPRO X

RAU-FIPRO X – more light, more architectural freedom, superior heat and sound insulation. In March 2018, at the international exhibition Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg, REHAU presented for the first time a new recipe for the co-extruded core RAUFIPRO X. And now the production of the updated window profile GENEO with this improved recipe has started.

REHAU Synego Panorama HST

REHAU Synego Panorama HST is a lift-and-slide system, a feature of which is panoramic glazing of the blind part (pictured on the right). This means that the glass unit is larger than in the sash, and this, in turn, gives more light.

• 1948

  The company was founded in the Bavarian city of Rehau. The staff consists of 3 employees, one extruder. First products included shoe shine, garden hoses, and automotive components.

• 1951

  The production of hoses for the VW Beetle “Volkswagen Beetle” begins and, at the same time, the foundation of a plant on the Bavarian land, in the city of Feuchtwangen.

• 1958

  Extrusion of the first PVC window profile and the first magnetic gasket system for refrigerator doors.

• 1962

  Opening of the first REHAU plant in Montreal, Canada.

• 1969

  RAUCRON – the first profile for the window industry was produced.

• 1976

  Creation of a new profession “plastics technician”, initiated by REHAU.

• 1978

  The first polymer bumper for the Volkswagen Passat was produced

• 1979

  REHAU headquarters for North America moves to Leesburg, Virginia.

• 1984

  20th anniversary of RAUDRIL pipe production. By this time, 25 million meters have already been produced.

• 1985

  Development of a new direction – painting of polymer elements. At the Bracke plant (Lower Saxony), an automatic line for painting components for cars was installed and launched.

• 1986

  Installation of the first REHAU underfloor heating system using PEX pipes.

• 1987

  The REHAU compression sleeve technology is introduced to the market – an innovation for the plumbing and heating sector.

• 1990

  Assembly of the millionth BMW bumper at the Viechtach plant (a city in the Lower Bavaria region).

• 1994

  Sending the first RAU-SIK silicone seal into space aboard an Ariane rocket.

• 1995

  Airbus started using REHAU fiber composites.

• 1996

  Recycled Product of the Year award for RAURECO made from recycled material.

• 1998

  REHAU begins mass production of car krill for the Audi A2.

• 2000

  The founder of the company, Helmut Wagner, hands over control of the company to his sons. Jobst Wagner becomes president of the board of directors and Dr. Veit Wagner becomes vice president.

• 2003

  Introduction of the innovative RAUPANELTM panel system for directional heating.

• 2004

  Spin-off of the medical business: establishment of RAUMEDIC AG as a subsidiary of REHAU AG + Co.

• 2005

  Establishment of a construction innovation center in Erlangen, opening of a scientific and industrial information center in Rehau.

• 2006

  BME Award for innovative procurement concept and Best Office Award for Best Office in Europe.

• 2007

  Introducing Ski-Line, an innovative ski jumping track system that combines summer and winter tracks into one module.
  Opening of the art gallery “REHAU ART”, which hosted the long-term exhibition “Perspective of Franz Gertsch”.
  Interzum Award 2007 for Outstanding Furniture Components.

• 2008

  The profile system GENEO®, made of high-tech material RAUFIPRO®, is presented.

• 2009

  RELAZZO, a system of terraces based on RAU-WOOD wood-polymer composite; RAUTITAN is an innovative polymer wiring system.

• 2011

  Bavarian Quality Prize in the Industry category for outstanding quality of processes and products as well as an innovative concept for quality assurance throughout the company; Award of the State Government of Bavaria for active protection of the environment and health.

• 2013

  Red Dot Design Award for RAUVISIO crystal glass laminate and Nea room controller for underfloor heating systems.

• 2017

  REHAU is currently an approved manufacturer of materials for BOEING.

• 2018

  REHAU Smart Guard window alarm already prevents burglars in several escalating stages from potential burglary (Western European market).
  REHAU continues to develop a high-tech window material: RAU-FIPRO X (for the Geneo range) opens up new perspectives in terms of dimensions, design, energy efficiency and sound insulation.

• 2019

  Two new systems for greater comfort and safety: The RE.SOURCE water dispenser delivers filtered water at the touch of a button, cooling or heating and, if desired, carbonating with carbon dioxide. The intelligent RE.GUARD water control unit protects against water damage thanks to modern technology.
